This policy explains how Svirgdisru Ltd ("we") collects and uses personal data when you visit svirgdisru.com. We are the data controller for that processing. It is written to meet the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

1. Data we collect

• Your name, email address and the content of your message when you contact us.
• Any details you volunteer in a complaint, correction request or data rights request.

Information collected automatically

• IP address (truncated where our analytics provider supports it), approximate country or region, and time of visit.
• Device and browser type, operating system, screen size and language.
• Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks on outbound links, and the referring website or campaign parameters in the URL.

We do not knowingly collect special category data, and we do not ask for health information. Please do not send us medical details.

2. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To operate and secure the site — legitimate interests, and strictly necessary cookies.
• To answer your enquiry or complaint — legitimate interests, or compliance with a legal obligation where the request is a statutory one.
• To measure how our pages and campaigns perform — consent, given through the cookie banner.
• To attribute referrals to advertising partners — consent, given through the cookie banner.
• To meet accounting, tax and advertising-standards obligations — legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

• Professional advisers, insurers and regulators, where we are legally required or entitled to disclose.

We do not sell personal data. When you click through to a merchant, you leave this site and that merchant becomes an independent controller for anything you then submit — including your name, address and payment details. Their privacy notice governs that processing, not ours.

5. International transfers

Some providers operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement / the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with a transfer risk assessment.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiry correspondence: 24 months from the last message.
• Complaints and corrections records: 6 years.
• Server and security logs: up to 12 months.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months in identifiable form, then aggregated.
• Cookie consent records: 12 months, then we ask again.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry mailboxes is restricted to authorised staff, protected by multi-factor authentication and reviewed periodically. Suppliers are engaged under written terms requiring appropriate technical and organisational measures. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the ICO where a breach meets the statutory threshold.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
