Terms of Service

1. Who we are
svirgdisru.com is operated by Svirgdisru Ltd, 1 Ceres View, Biggin Hill, Westerham, Kent TN16 3FA, United Kingdom. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
2. Nature of the content — advertising
Svirgdisru publishes advertising and marketing content. The main article on this site is a paid advertorial produced in cooperation with, or for the benefit of, the advertiser. It is presented in an editorial style but it is not independent journalism, an impartial test report or a professional recommendation. Photographs may show models, and quoted testimonials are supplied by the merchant and edited for length and UK readership.
3. Not medical or optical advice
Nothing on this site is medical, optical or clinical advice. The eyewear featured consists of ready-made, non-prescription magnifying reading glasses. They are not prescription spectacles, they do not correct astigmatism or distance vision, they must never be used for driving, and they are not a substitute for a sight test by a registered optometrist. Always seek professional advice about your eyes, and seek it urgently if you experience sudden vision changes, flashes, floaters or eye pain.
4. We are not the seller
We do not sell, supply, stock, ship or bill for any product. Clicking a product link takes you to a third-party merchant. Any purchase is a contract between you and that merchant, on their terms, and they alone are responsible for pricing, stock, payment processing, delivery, warranties, returns, refunds and customer service.
5. Affiliate compensation
We receive payment, commission or other compensation when readers click links or complete purchases. This may influence which products we feature. It does not change the price you pay.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm others.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or connected systems.
- Do not introduce malware, scrape at a rate that burdens our infrastructure, or attempt denial-of-service attacks.
- Do not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The layout, text, branding and design of this site are owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and trade mark law. Product photography and product names belong to the respective merchant or brand owner and appear here for identification. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
8. Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and current, but prices, discounts, specifications, stock and delivery estimates are controlled by the merchant and change without notice. We give no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we may suspend, withdraw or amend any part of it without notice.
9. Third-party links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, terms or privacy practices.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under English law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, goodwill, data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, nor for loss arising from a merchant's acts or omissions or from your use of any product purchased through a link on this site.
11. Indemnity
If you use the site in breach of these terms in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from that breach.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The version published here when you use the site is the version that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
14. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are between you and us; no other person may enforce them.
